The standard electronic components can be difficult to understand and unfriendly to the non-specialist public. Often are in addition to smooth surfaces such as clothing, toys , carpets or furniture items. Like textiles and Conductors electricity, open new possibilities for electronic textiles .
a. This workshop will present an overview of the basics of electronics and teach the construction of analog circuits using textiles and materials capable of conducting electricity with the incorporation of electronic components.
b . Workshop participants will receive an overview of physical computing incorporated in textiles and soft materials in the context of fashion, art and technology.
c . Participants will have the opportunity to build a basic circuit , connecting with a sensor and experiment with the possibilities of connecting a microprocessor as the LilyPad Arduino , achieving richer interactive experiences.
Requirements : This workshop is aimed at people with creative practices that want to diversify the interaction capacity of their projects. Artists, Architects, Designers , and any technology enthusiast.
You should bring materials fabric / sewing, and patchwork , wool, knitting sticks , scissors, etc.
